The main Loss Events list shows you all the loss events existing within your account giving you an overview of the main information for each, such as the type, the loss event date and the number of claims belonging to them.

From here you can organise, categorise and report on all your loss events.

Filtering on Loss Events

Loss Events can be filtered according to different conditions:

Status

The Status field allows you to filter your loss events based on the status they have.

Loss Event Type

The Loss Event Type field allows you to filter loss events based on their type.

Created Date

The Created Date field allows you to filter your loss events based on when the loss event was created. Claimable allows you to select a relative date (e.g.: Year-to-date, Month-to-date, Today, Last Month, etc.) or specify a date range (e.g.: From 01/07/2024 To 15/07/2024). You can also populate just one of the From or To dates to filter either after or before that date, respectively.

Reported Date

The Reported Date field allows you to filter your loss events based on when the loss event was reported.

Loss Event Started Date

The Loss Event Started Date field allows you to filter your loss events based on when the loss event started. Claimable allows you to select a relative date (e.g.: Year-to-date, Month-to-date, Today, Last Month, etc.) or specify a date range (e.g.: From 01/07/2024 To 15/07/2024).

Loss Event Ended Date

The Loss Event Ended Date field allows you to filter your loss events based on when the loss event ended. Claimable allows you to select a relative date (e.g.: Year-to-date, Month-to-date, Today, Last Month, etc.) or specify a date range (e.g.: From 01/07/2024 To 15/07/2024).

Number of Claims

The Number of Claims field allows you to filter your loss events based on the number of claims linked to them.

Has Labels

The Has Labels field allows you to filter loss events by one or more labels applied to them. When specifying labels you will be able to toggle between the following options:

  • All of These Labels

  • Any of these Labels

  • Only These Labels (And No Others)

  • None of These Labels (Excluding)

Labelling Loss Events

Labels are like tags or folders and are a great way to categorise and drive attention to the status of a loss event. Labels can be personalised and there is no limit on the number of labels you can create and apply to a loss event.

An example of labels for loss events can be: "Ongoing", "Under Investigation" or "Reviewed".

Creating a Label

You can create and edit labels in the main Loss Events list, from the Labels tab.

Exporting Loss Events

Once you have organised the loss events in your account, you may want to export a specific filter or label in CSV or XLSX format. To do so, select the filter or label you wish to export and click on the export button.

Scheduling Exports

Claimable allows you to schedule exports that will be automatically delivered to your inbox either daily, weekly or monthly.

To create a scheduled export, select a Filter or Label from the sidebar and click on the export button. From the export popup, click on "Schedule".

You will be prompted to choose a frequency for your schedule. The choices are daily, weekly or monthly. If you choose weekly you can specify a day of the week (e.g. Friday) and if you choose monthly you can pick a specific day of the month (e.g. 1st) or the "last day", which takes into account the number of days in each month.

TIP: To avoid receiving empty exports, check the "Skip empty exports?" option. Claimable will not send any exports that yield zero rows.

Finally, click "Add Schedule" to save your schedule, which will take effect on the next day that matches your chosen schedule frequency.
