Only users with the role Admin or Manager can change the Document Folders' visibility.
This allows you to have folders and the documents within them set as private and only accessible to users internal to your company.
If you collaborate with external users like suppliers, creating private folders is a great way to improve data access control in your account.
To set the visibility level on folders:
Go to Account Settings β Document Folders.
Open the folder you want to change, or create a new one.
Choose the preferred option from the Visibility Level drop-down menu.
Click "Save".
