How are messages/emails linked to a claim?

Claimable automatically organises and links emails to the relevant claim, helping users keep their claim communications well-organised and easy to retrieve.

Messages are linked in two ways:

1) Replies to Claimable Conversations

If a message is a reply to an email originally sent from Claimable, it will automatically be linked to the corresponding claim.

2) Emails Sent to a Claimable Email Address including a Reference

Emails sent directly to a Claimable email address can also be linked automatically provided that enough relevant information can be extracted and matched to an existing claim.

To ensure accurate automatic linking, we recommend including the Claim ID or the Claim Reference in the email subject. This helps our linking engine identify and associate the message with the correct claim more reliably.

Linking Emails Manually

When Claimable can't link the emails automatically because of lack of information, the email is received into Claimable under the main Messages tab and saved under "Unlinked".

You can manually link the conversation to an existing claim by clicking on "Link to claim".

When linking an email to a claim, Claimable also suggests which claim the email may refer to, based on the sender and the subject.
