Within each claim, contact or company there is a Documents tab giving you the option of uploading a variety of file types. This means all relevant documents are stored in one place and are accessible from one convenient location.

All team members have access to these files, from anywhere, helping your business stay organised and efficient.

Uploading a Document

You can easily upload a document from the Documents tab. Simply select the folder you would like to upload your file to, click the "Upload" button, "Choose a file" and select the document or documents you want to upload. To select multiple documents hold the CTRL or SHIFT key (CMD on a Mac) to select more than one.

TIP: You can also simply drag and drop your documents into Claimable Documents folders from your computer.

Files are uploaded matching the order in which they show in the operating system file chooser pop up window.

The document/s will be available to all users in your account. By clicking on an individual document, a preview will show on the right-hand side for documents in supported file types

No folders yet? You can upload your files to the "Unfiled" folder and move them subsequently.

Organising Documents

Claimable allows you to create folders for your documents to keep your data organised and easy to locate.

From the Document Folders tab under Account Settings, administrators and managers on your Claimable account can configure folders, into which documents can be stored for claims, contacts and companies.

If you are an admin or a manager, you can easily access the Document Folders tab by clicking on the "cog icon" within the Documents tab.

You can read more about setting up folders here.

Moving Documents between Folders

You can easily move your documents between folders by dragging and dropping them.

Sorting/Ordering Documents

Documents are ordered by default with the the most recently uploaded at the top, to the oldest at the bottom. You can choose to sort documents by the following options:

  • date uploaded

  • alphabetically

  • file size

  • type of document (e.g: PDF, PNG, etc.)

Downloading a Document

If you wish to download a document from your Claimable account, select the file you wish to download followed by clicking the "cloud icon". The cloud icon is available under the file preview and will initiate a download.

Deleting a Document

If you upload a wrong document, or no longer wish to store it within a claim, you can delete this by clicking the document. Under the preview, a delete button is available. Simply click the "trash icon", confirm that you wish to delete the file, and it will no longer be stored within the claim.

You can also quickly delete a document from the list view. To do so, hover over the document, click on the three dots and select the "delete" option.

Deleting a document results in no users being able to view the document from the app anymore.
