Limited access users are those users that have access to Claimable but with a controlled and defined number of permissions.
Limited access users roles are often suitable for directors, accounts teams, external parties, junior assistants or anyone who has limited involvement in the claim process but who are still required to perform selected actions.
Limited access users are included on the Growth or Established price plans. The growth plan includes 5 limited access users and the Established price plan includes an unlimited number of limited access users.
Claimable offers three different limited access user roles you can choose from:
Contributor
The contributor user role is suitable for those users that do not directly manage claims but need to record new claims or add extra information such as notes or documents to existing claims. This role is usually assigned to call centre operators or junior assistants.
Users with the contributor role can enter new claims and edit existing ones but have limited access to claim management actions such as assigning a claim, sending messages, appoint suppliers, etc. Destructive actions such as deleting claims, conversations, contacts or tasks are unavailable.
Claim Creator
The claim creator role is suitable to all users that only need to enter claims into Claimable. Claim creators users are often data entry clerks, call centre operators or on-site/customer-facing team members.
For instance, if your company manages properties, often on-site property managers collect and enter claims into Claimable for your internal team to review and process.
This is also the case for manufacturers or service providers where the customer care team are the first point of contact and are made aware of claims through customer interactions.
Claim creators permissions are limited to entering new claims in the system and editing claims they have created.
Read-Only
Read-only users are those users that have visibility of most claim information without the ability to perform actions or edit claims.
This role is often suitable for directors, auditors or anyone who has limited involvement in the claim process but who require having an oversight of the claims.
Read-only users can create filters and can be allowed to export claims, tasks, contacts and companies. This is especially useful when read-only users have to report on claims as part of their role, for instance, accounts teams and directors.
Limiting Access Further
Claimable allows you to set users as internal or external to further limit what information they can access.
Internal users are those users that work in your company and can access all claims.
External users are those users that are not from your organisation but work for third parties you collaborate with. For example, these can be suppliers, surveyors or loss adjusters. External users have restricted access; in fact, they can only access claims that the company they work for are assigned to. For this reason, when setting up an external user you need to specify the company he/she works at.
For instance, if Bob Smith is an external read-only user belonging to Smith Accountancy, he will only be able to see claims with Smith Accountancy linked to them. The company can be linked to a claim as a client, broker, insurer or an appointed supplier.
