To comply with privacy policies or to simply better segregate and manage your company's workload, Claimable allows you to restrict access to claims. Access restriction can be achieved via the following features:

Restricted Claim Types

Restricted claim types allow you to explicitly specify which user can access a given claim type.

When setting up a restricted claim type, you can set specific users who you wish to be able to access and work on claims of a certain type.

For example, if you have claims containing sensitive information, such as medical or employee-related, you can limit access to a select few approved users.

This feature is available for Established plan customers only. To create your first restricted claim type or get access to this feature, just contact us.

Multi-Branch Support

Multi-branch support can be used for customers operating out of more than one location or wanting to isolate different teams' work ensuring the right people have access to the right information.

Users can either have access to all branches or their designated branch, which determines the permissions that apply.

Users belonging to a branch can only access claims, tasks, contacts or companies relating to claims, for their branch. This means when viewing the Task, Contacts or Company tabs, they won't be able to see information added under other branches.

When creating a claim or a company, users belonging to a branch can only choose the branch they belong to, and cannot create records for other branches.

When using the multi-branch feature, you can still provide access to all claims to certain users by not linking them to any branch. This can be used for your head office team or management who require company-wide oversight.

Multi-branch support is available for Established plan customers only. To create your first branch or get access to this feature, just contact us.

External Users

External users are those users that are not from your organisation but work for third parties you collaborate with.

Claimable allows you to give restricted access to external users so they can only access claims that are linked to the company they work for. A company can be linked to a claim by being an appointed supplier, a client, insurer or broker on a given claim.

You can also further restrict external users to limited permissions by setting them up as Limited Access Users.

Users with the role admin Admin can invite external users by contacting us or from the Users tab under Account Settings, and they can change existing users to external access from within the user profile.
