Placeholders represent claim data that can be added to Message Templates and automatically pull specific information from within the claim, saving you time and improving accuracy.

Placeholders allow you to create dynamic message templates that adapt to the specific claims they are used in.

For example, the "Claimant Name" placeholder will automatically pull the claimant name from the claim, while the "Date Reported" will automatically pull the date the claim in question was reported.

To use placeholders when composing a Message Template, you just need to drag and drop the placeholder you need into the right place within the body.

Available Placeholders

We continually review and enhance the list of placeholders and currently the available placeholders are:

Actual Claim Cost

The Actual Claim Cost amount as saved on the claim value page, including the currency. E.g.: "£300"

Assigned To

The user the claim is assigned to. E.g.: "James Bond".

Branch

The Branch the claim belongs to. E.g.: "London and South East".

Broker

The name of the broker linked to the claim. E.g.: "Hoxton Brokers".

Checklist Completion

The amount of tasks completed on the claim. E.g.: "1/4"

Checklist Progress (%)

The checklist progress expressed in percentage. Eg.: "25%"

Claim Duration (Days)

The duration of the claim expressed in days. E.g.: "32".

Claim ID

The sequential ID of the claim that is automatically generated at claim creation. E.g.: "1289".

Claim Ref.

The Claim Reference as saved on the claim details page. E.g.: "AB54638".

Claim Title

The title given to the claim. E.g.: "Mary & James Belton".

Claim Type

The claim type. E.g.: "Motor".

Claimant Address

The address of the claimant formatted to reflect your region mailing address format. E.g.:

"1 Garden Road
Park Lane
Wood Land
Horsham
West Sussex
RH12 1AA"

Claimant Address Country

The Country of the claimant address as saved under their contact profile. E.g.: "United Kingdom".

Claimant Address County/State

The County/State of the claimant address as saved under their contact profile. E.g.: "West Sussex".

Claimant Address Line 1

The first line of the claimant address as saved under their contact profile. E.g.: "1 Garden Road".

Claimant Address Line 2

The second line of the claimant address as saved under their contact profile. E.g.: "Park Lane".

Claimant Address Line 3

The third line of the claimant address as saved under their contact profile. E.g.: "Wood Land".

Claimant Address Postcode/Zipcode

The Postcode/Zipcode on the claimant address as saved under their contact profile. E.g.: "RH12 1AA".

Claimant Address Town/City

The Town/City on the claimant address as saved under their contact profile. E.g.: "Horsham".

Claimant Email

The Email address of the claimant as specified in their contact profile. E.g.: "maryb@gmail.com".

Claimant First Name

The First Name of the claimant as specified in their contact profile. E.g.: "Mary".

Claimant Home Phone

The Home Phone number of the claimant as specified in their contact profile. E.g.: "01234 565 343".

Claimant Last Name

The Last Name of the claimant as specified in their contact profile. E.g.: "Belton".

Claimant Liability

The Liability of the claimant as saved under the Contacts tab. E.g.: "At Fault".

Claimant Mobile Phone

The Mobile Phone number of the claimant as specified in their contact profile. E.g.: "0700089340".

Claimant Name

The claimant full name. E.g.: "Mary Belton".

Claimant Role

The Role of the claimant as saved under the Contacts tab. E.g.: "Driver".

Claimant Salutation Name

The title and last name of the claimant. E.g. "Mrs Belton".

Claimant Title

The Title of the claimant as specified in their contact profile. E.g.: " Mr.".

Claimant Work Phone

The Work Phone number of the claimant as saved in their contact profile. E.g.: "0923440877".

Client

The name of the Client as saved on the claim details page. E.g.: "Hoxton Corporate".

Closed Date

The date the claim was closed, formatted as per your locale. Eg.: "11 July, 2024" or "July 11, 2024".

Completed Tasks

The number of tasks that have been completed for the claim in question. E.g.: "2".

Created By

The full name of the user that created the claim. E.g: "James Bond".

Created Date

The date the claim was created, formatted as per your locale. Eg.: "11 July, 2024" or "July 11, 2024".

Driver

The full name of the contact saved as the Driver of the subject vehicle. E.g.: "Adele White".

Estimated Claim Cost

The Estimated Claim Cost amount as specified on the claim value page, including the currency. E.g.: "£100".

Excess Amount

The Excess Amount as specified on the claim value page, including the currency. E.g.: "£100".

Ext. Claim Ref.

The External Claim Reference of the claim as saved under the claim details page. E.g.: "982-UY-2".

Incident Date

The date of the incident, formatted as per your locale. E.g.: "11 July, 2024" or "July 11, 2024".

Incident Description

The description of the incident as saved under the claim incident page. E.g.: "The claimant slipped on floor and broke her arm."

Incident Location Address

The full incident location address formatted to reflect your region mailing address format. E.g.:

Last Updated

The date of the last time the claim was edited, formatted as per your region.

Opened Date

The date the claim was opened, formatted as per your locale. Eg.: "11 July, 2024" or "July 11, 2024".

Outstanding Reserve

The Outstanding Reserve amount as specified on the claim value page, including the currency. E.g.: "£100".

Policy No.

The policy number as specified on the claim details page. E.g.: "SUQ-0912".

Reported Date

The date the claim was reported, formatted as per your locale. Eg.: "11 July, 2024" or "July 11, 2024".

Reserve Amount

The Reserve Amount as specified on the claim value page, including the currency. E.g.: "£100".

Settled Amount

The Settled Amount amount as specified on the claim value page, including the currency. E.g.: "£100".

Status

The status of the claim. E.g.: "Closed", "Open".

Sub-Incident Type

The Sub-Incident Type as specified on the claim incident page. E.g.: "Collision with Cyclist".

Total Documents

The total number of documents stored within the claim. E.g.: "10".

Total Paid

The Total Paid amount as specified on the claim value page, including the currency. E.g.: "£100".

Total Reserve

The Total Reserve amount as specified on the claim value page, including the currency. E.g.: "£100".

Total Tasks

The total number of tasks, open or closed, belonging to the claim in question. E.g.: "10".

Vehicle Make

The Make of the vehicle saved as the claim subject under the Vehicles tab. E.g.: "BMW".

Vehicle Model

The Model of the vehicle saved as the claim subject under the Vehicles tab. E.g.: "M3".

Vehicle Reg.

The Registration number / License plate of the vehicle saved as the claim subject under the Vehicles tab. E.g.: "AG22 3UW".
